Silver-plated jewelry

Silver-plated jewellery is a cheaper option than full silver. Silver-plated jewellery is an inexpensive way to add a striking addition to your jewellery collection. Silver-plated A piece of jewellery will stay beautiful for a long time and will delight its owner if you remember to look after it properly.

The silver-plated surface should be protected from all chemicals and moisture. It is therefore not advisable to take a shower, sauna or vigorously exercise with silver-plated jewellery. Avoid spraying perfumes and hairsprays on your jewellery. Silver-plated jewellery can darken (or tarnish) with exposure to certain types of skin and oil.

HERE'S HOW TO TREAT SILVER-PLATED JEWELRY:

1. Store the jewelry in an airtight bag, in your own bag, or in the box that came with the jewelry when not in use. This way it is not scratched or darkened by oxygen.
2. Avoid showering, sauna, sweating, and spraying chemicals on top of the jewelry.
3. Clean regularly with a silver cleaner.
